Andrew Jackson was one of you begging presidents. He wasnt like the other presidents that were from rich families thinking you had to be knowen to be president or were like John Adams and had small narrow views of Americas goverment instesad Andrew Jackson was not from a huge well knkow family or wasnt all that rich. JAckson was alittle rough around the edges and fought on the battle field. He got the name "Old Hickory" form his time on the battle field and what he he did. When he was elecvted president america was going to have a new Democracy. During his presidency Jacksonian politican got rid of the causes system and began knowing that everybody coudn run for president and coudn rule. Jacksons presidntry created the therm"Common man" which is still used by Democratics today. Jackson caused a destruction in the U.S. national banks. He vetoed a bill for banks that made it look as if state banks were not resposiable or reliable but people did love it they thought they could sluff off with the credit policies disappearing. Jackson didnt like people that were Native American. He as a fighter against them and was at the beating of the creeds at and

In the article "Old Hickory" I learned a few things about Andrew Jackson. He wasnt like most presidnts he was alittle more rough around the edges. He wasnt rich like the other first presidents. From Jackson being like he was showed me that you didnt have to be well know, rich or anyting to be president and go a good job anybody could do it. Anybody could be president and look out for the peoples rights to meke the country better.
